If you are born in the United States, you have rights . If you know them, you can exercise them, fight for them and enforce them. The same is true spiritually and physically. When you are “born” into God’s Kingdom, through Christ, you have spiritual rights. You may know that all people have the right to be a Christian, if they believe, because Jesus gave us this through His sacrifice. What you may not know, however, is that Christians have rights. These are spiritual rights that will be violated unless you know that you have them! If you are a living human being, Jesus already paid for your right to be born again, saved, healed, delivered and free. Jesus has emancipated you! He has freed you from sin and their curses! It’s your choice. It’s a gift, not an obligation or duty. It’s a right because it’s been purchased already. Will you exercise your right to be free? It’s a decision, a withdrawal on your heavenly account. You can’t be turned down. You’re pre-approved! This is the Gospel. The Good News!
Every day, Satan will tell you that you have a right to be condemned, a right to be sick, the right to be addicted to alcohol, cigarettes, drugs. He tells you that because you have been through such hard times, you have the right to abuse yourself and suffer for it. He invites you to exercise your right to be poor, sick and depressed. He says you have the right to be angry and mean to others because of your sad past. Satan says you were abused, therefore you have to right to be abusive to yourself or others. He’ll say your body has a right to be ill because you abused it! Lies! All lies!
If you exercise your right to be born again, into Christ’s Kingdom, by believing on Jesus, then this gives you a whole bunch of other rights. Did you know the Holy spirit convicts us who are in Christ of our righteousness? (John 16:10) Your righteousness is a gift! Romans 5:17 “For if by one man’s offense (Adam) death reigned by one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by One, Jesus Christ.”
Your Rights In Christ
You have the right to become a new creation; You have the right to be forgiven of all of your sins because of the innocent Blood shed for you; You have the right to be accepted because of Jesus; (Eph 1:6) The right to be free from condemnation (Rom 8:1) You have the right to be seated in heavenly places with Christ (Eph 2:6) You are qualified to partake of the inheritance. What is your inheritance? It is that “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.” Isaiah 54:17 You have a right to partake in His divine nature ; You have the right to be transformed by the renewing of your mind; You have the right to be never alone (Heb 13:5) You have the right to have the mind of Christ. (1 Co 2:16) You have the right to be the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Co 6:19) You have the right to know the truth, and the truth makes you free (Joh 8:31-32) You have a right to have an unction from the Holy One, and to know all things. You have a right to always triumph in Christ. You have a right to be more than a conqueror. You have a right to have all needs met by God; You have a right to overcome the world by faith and a right to be called a saint! You have a right to be dead to sin and alive with Christ; you have the right to be free from sin and death; you have the right to be delivered from the power of darkness; you have the right to never be touched by the wicked one; you have the right to hear and know God’s voice; you have a right to abundant life, everlasting life, and a right to the peace of God; you have the right to health, abundance and no lack. You have the right to praise God; you have the right to a mansion in heaven.
